I've always felt like the MK6 Gen3 GLI was an underrated platform, so in 2018 I purchased one and started making my vision for the car a reality. We regularly use my GLI for product development for the platform. It sports our rear diffuser, adjustable damping coilovers, front and rear sway bars, and more parts we're actively testing. Our unique aesthetic upgrades set the car apart from the crowd. The brakes, suspension, engine, exhaust, and software upgrades make for a refined and aggressive driving experience that puts a smile on my face every single time.

Tyler purchased this once VW dealer shop parts car out of New Mexico in June of 2019. Over time it has become less of a daily and more of a fun backroads car. With less power than a Honda Civic, and adding some select exhaust mods and a tune, it will now overcome a few grocery getters. Gary, a member of our R&D team, prefers an OEM plus aesthetic on his vehicles - which makes for a very clean and unassuming build. His low-mile Candy White Mk6 GTI quickly went from a tame daily driver to an aggressive three-season handling machine. While no modified car is ever "done", we think this example is pretty complete.

This MK6 Jetta 2.5 was my first car, and it's been what has motivated me to learn how to work on, maintain, and modify cars. With a high-strung S54 inline six under the hood, a manual 6-speed transmission, LSD rear end, and competent suspension, the E46 M3 is a great platform out of the box. That isn’t to say it can’t be improved, however, which is exactly what we did. The MK6 was a welcomed change from the MK5 styling, which we were more than happy to make our own with this MK6 GTI. Our MK6 GTI features a Genuine European VW front end conversion to mimic the MK6 R body, which we imported and converted before the USA received the R version of the chassis. While it's still front wheel drive, our MK6 GTI puts down plenty of power and looks good doing it thanks to the many in-house developed upgrades we've added, like our ECS Coilovers, Tekniform Wheels, and engine performance upgrades. The ECS Tuning Billet Aluminum DQ250 DSG / S Tronic Oil Filter Housing is an attractive, durable upgrade, machined from a solid block of T6 6061 aluminum.
