Give your BMW incredible stopping power with BMW Performance calipers from the 135i performance braking package. With Genuine BMW rotors and OE Textar pads. Brake harder with less brake fade with floating euro rotors and 6-piston BMW Performance calipers. Brake bias will not be dramatically affected. For track applications, a more aggressive rear pad is recommended. Most 17” wheels will clear these calipers. The four (4) longer bolts pictured will come attached to the OEM caliper carrier. On your E8X, your rear toe arms are fixed. This is fine for your BMW if your suspension is stock, but as soon as you lower it, you are going to be out of spec. These arms are critical if you want to maximize the effectiveness of your BMW’s handling and prevent premature wear.

Updated in 2021 for easier install. Still the same quality you're used to, but now in an easier to install package. The rubber "U" shaped hose connecting the water pump to the thermostat is a well-known failure point. The hard bends in the stock hose always end up cracking and leaking, but since the water pump thermostat assembly is tucked up above the subframe, it can be difficult to pinpoint the leak. When you upgrade your OE rubber hose to the ECS aluminized silicone hose, you don't just get a longer lasting, more flexible hose, but also one that's better suited to withstand high

Some of the biggest issues when owning a BMW can come from cooling system components. The N52 engine sees failure at the plastic adapter connecting the thermostat hose to the cylinder head, this adapter simply shears off at the end of the barbed fitting. The engineering team here at ECS decided a billet aluminum piece was a much better option to contend with the temperature fluctuation, and since other offerings on the market want you to modify your OE hose to be reused, we even developed a silicone replacement hose.

With the oval design of the intake tube, a custom air filter had to be designed for this intake system. The air filter is specially designed to seal against the carbon fiber airbox, eliminating any opening for hot air to enter the airbox! Turner created conical hi-flow reusable air filters; featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze construction to maximize filtration efficiency
