BMWs have historically been plagued by very long throw shifters from the factory - even the new(er) 2, 3, and 4 series come equipped with sub-optimal throws. This Turner M62TU intake is CAD designed by their in-house team of engineers - and it shows. The heat shield is wrinkle black powder coated CNC aluminum - featuring pre installed edge trim and a Turner brand plate. The heat shield is held to tight tolerances to keep hot engine bay air away from the intake, while retaining factory air inlet scoop compatibility to bring in cool, fresh air. This Skid Plate is In-house designed & engineered at Turner, to fit your all wheel drive Non-M 5 or 6 series. The kit includes a heavy-duty mounting bracket and all necessary stainless steel hardware for install.
