The stock throttle body is smaller than the supercharger inlet creating a massive restriction and directly responsible for power loss. ECS Tuning's in-house designed and engineered Performance Throttle Body Upgrade will do the trick. Designed with a smooth flow path in mind, we start off with a wire reinforced silicone inlet that resists collapse and is stepped in the internal diameter to create a smooth transition to the throttle body. We then went with a high quality OEM Mopar 80mm throttle body that is 10mm larger and has 30% more cross sectional area than OE. The final step is the cast aluminum adapter housing with port matched internal diameters to provide the smoothest flow path possible. On our test car equipped with IE dual pulley 93 octane 80mm throttle body tune, ECS exhaust (valves open, stock catalytic converters), ECS supercharger heat exchanger, ECS Kohlfaser Luft Technik Intake, ECS supercharger and crank pulley, we saw 415 HP and 385 TQ at the WHEELS. Thicker, Quality, and Comfort! You can not disagree, that the steering wheel is the most important matter when driving. ECS 4.0T Performance Engine Mounts
The C7 4.0T is notorious for eating stock fluid filled engine mounts with even the tamest tune. After extensive testing, we've designed a great poly engine mount to handle MOAR POWAH BABEH without too much added NVH! Our Engineering Manager sheered his stock passenger side engine mount while testing the ECS A2A prototype. This caused us to design a better mount while still maintaining drivability! Just like Goldilocks and the Three Bears - our first attempt was too hard, our second was too soft and the third was just right. We found that 40A durometer polyurethane was the optimal balance between NVH and stiffness. Poly bushings plus precision machined billet 6061-T6 housings with thermal isolators are a match made in 4.0T heaven. Also, because we go above and beyond we custom made error-free resistor harnesses. Grab a pair and enjoy crisper throttle response & more precise shifts!

ECS Performance Coolant Hose Kit for your N54
Some of the biggest issues when owning a BMW can come from cooling system components. Even through the years of improvement the same failure is seen with the plastic fittings and adapters from years of hot to cold temperature fluctuation. The N54 engine sees failure at the plastic adapter connecting the thermostat hose to the cylinder head, this adapter simply shears off at the end of the barbed fitting. The engineering team here at ECS decided a billet aluminum piece was a much better option to contend with the temperature fluctuation.

New Turner F10 M5 / F12 M6 Aluminum Skid Plate
Driving an F10 M5 can be a downright religious experience; don't let road debris knock you from your driving revelry. These cars have so much packed under the hood to get you this experience it causes the oil cooler to be placed face-down to the road. This makes the cooler an easy target for impact, which can prove catastrophic as the stock belly pan is designed from a flexible plastic material. We've heard stories of small branches, scrap pieces that fell from trucks to large ice chunks impact the cooler immediately draining the car of its oil. If you don't catch this right away this could cause serious internal engine damage due to oil starvation. This skid plate requires no modification and mounts using the existing factory hardware. Using a trim seal to press against the oil cooler allows the airflow to pull heat from the cooler the same way the OE belly pan was designed.
NEW Bremmen Parts W10 W11 Engine Ignition Switch
This electrical switch mounts to the side of the steering column and does not include lock cylinder. Mounts to opposite side of the lock cylinder. These are usually worn out and you cannot start the car, even with the battery and starter functional.

The OEM radiator, while superior to its non-M counterpart, struggles to keep coolant temperature in check under sustained high-RPM conditions. Heat soak, elevated operating temperatures, and component fatigue are all too familiar to M3 owners who track their S54 regularly.
If your BMW has a plastic expansion tank and it is still intact after years of heat cycling, consider yourself lucky - however, it is not a question of whether or not it will fail, it is a question of when it will fail. You can tell your significant other that this is "cheap insurance" against being stuck on the side of the highway. Story from our BMW Brand Manager: After a track event, my plastic expansion tank blew up on a three hour commute home - my wife was not happy sitting on the side of the highway waiting for a tow. I am certain that she would have been much happier if I installed the Turner aluminum expansion tank before the event.
